Hi, my name is Dani and I am an adventurous natural light portrait and lifestyle photographer. I am what my family calls a firecracker, and I’ll continue to attribute that to the red hair! I am 33 years old, and I started my business back in 2011, at the wee age of 22, on the east coast of Canada. I had driven across the country in under 7 days from BC to NB, with the plan to stay 3 months, and well, I ended up staying almost 4 years because the maritimes has the best people in the world there! I was able to develop my business from the ground up, knowing only a few people, and then moved my business back out here in 2015. I absolutely live for creating raw, emotive, emotional, and honest memories whether I am there for your big day or for your annual family session. I specialize in weddings, boudoir, in-home and on location family/couples sessions as well as working with brands, and photographing sports on the side. I want to capture love and will do pretty much anything to get your babies, kids, teens, and husbands, to laugh! I am often found editing in my favourite lounge wear while binge watching anything and everything. Normally I settle for good horror movies or The Office, because hello… best show of all time! I love finding that perfect pnw backdrop and I think fog is a freaking gift to photographers. I am all about those sunrises and sunsets, even though I am not a morning person. My husband and I welcomed our baby girl, Georgia, in October of 2019 and our son, Milo, in 2022! I like to travel, but hate flying, and love moving to new places and experiencing different ways of life. I have lived in 4 provinces, in two countries, on two continents, and did that by the time I was 25. I appreciate deep connections, meaningful conversations, and tight hugs.
I laugh hard, I love hard, I sing darn hard in the car and I don’t care who’s judging me. I truly live for what I do.
I am currently located in Langley, British Columbia, but I LOVE to discover new locations with adventurous, down to earth people. Let’s have some fun and create some beautiful memories together!
