Annie and Adam’s beautiful day in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, at the beginning of September, was surely one of the most detailed weddings I’ve ever shot and I am so excited to share it today! A stunningly romantic, elegant, and classy wedding that is definitely among my favourite weddings of all time!
Though the weather was not on our side that day, the mood of both the ladies and men was calm and happy. Annie had a beautiful outdoor room at her parent’s house that the girls were getting ready in. Which also provided us with front row seats to the massive rain storm that we were experiencing that day! Annie and Adam have an absolutely beautiful golden retriever that was spending the morning with us and she makes an appearance in quite a few photos! Mainly because she didn’t want to leave Annie’s side all morning. After the girls were finished getting ready, all looking gorgeous I must say, I drove over to the hotel where the boys were getting ready. The drinks were flowing, pizza was being eaten, and laughs were being had. These guys were so mellow and fun to hang out with. The suits were my favourite suits to date! It’s not too often you see the bow tie make an appearance, and I fell in love with it! We quickly wrapped things up there so we could head out for the first look in the rain between Annie and Adam.
After making the most of our 1.5 hours in the pouring rain for couple’s photos, we were given a break for the bridal party photos and family photos ( YAY )! The ceremony was held in a beautiful church in Grand Falls, and as soon as it ended, we headed to the reception. Annie’s DIY decorating/organizational skills were on point, seriously on point. She had so many beautiful details and embellishments on her day and I felt like I couldn’t take enough photos to actual capture each small detail she had meticulously planned out. Then there was the food… TO DIE FOR. Four courses of absolutely melt-in-your-mouth indian food. We still talk about how amazing the food and desserts were. Honestly, everything about this day was perfect. Rain and all!
Annie and Adam are both incredibly genuine and kind people who I had such a pleasure spending my weekend with in Grand Falls. They cared so much about all the little things and making sure their guests were well taken care of at all times. Hanging out with them was like hanging out with friends that I’ve known for years. Annie and Adam’s love for each other is well shared with all the people they surround themselves with because they care so much about everyone. Their love is the type of love that others wish they could have for themselves. Just the way they look at each other is enough to make anyone swoon. I can’t thank these two enough for having me on their special day and I wish them all the love and happiness the world has to offer!
