What an amazing shoot Emily, Chris, myself and their lovely dog had yesterday! The snow made for a picturesque, romantic scene on one of the walking trails in Fredericton. Though it was a challenge to actually get to the walking trail itself, after 30 cm of snow had fallen, we kept pushing forward, and possible sinking here and there. We were incredible lucky that the temperature was tame, as both Emily and Chris decided against jackets!
First thing to say is how amazing is it that you can instantly tell and feel from these photos how happy Emily and Chris are. Their genuine care, affection, and sense of play towards one another is and was evident throughout the entire session. Second, how adorable are they?! Third, both are incredibly photogenic, which made my job easy. It is couples like this that make my day worthwhile. I strive to be able to capture those private “looks”, those spontaneous kisses, and the flying snowballs throughout each shoot… Okay maybe not flying snowballs in each shoot, but the playful banter between a couple.
I always know I am happy with a session when I generally can’t stop grinning the entire time I am editing them and I can’t seem to pick my favourites easy enough, because they all make the top list! Huge thanks for Chris for coming with an open mind, as for the majority of men, Chris isn’t a fan of photos. Another massive thanks to Emily for being such a sweetheart and someone so easy to work with. Can’t wait to work with you again!
