It was a windy day, only 10 days before their wedding, we chose to shoot our engagement shoot together! We headed to one of their favourite spots in town, the walking bridge. The sun was high and bright and the wind made for the best natural hair blower. It was one of the first days I didn’t have to wear a jacket! Finally spring had sprung!
Jean-Phiippe and Linnet are two peas in a pod. The bond between them is so energetic and powerful you want to love them both as much as they love each other. I could actually take pictures of them all day. I loved our session so much in fact, that it went from a typical hour long shoot…to almost two hours. I didn’t want to leave! It’s often I hear that people feel awkward being in front of the camera and they do their best to convince me they are not the most photogenic people in the world moments before I start clicking away. Almost 100% of the time, they are terribly wrong! Look at these two…There just isn’t an ounce of awkward in any single image. All I can see is two people so deeply enamored with each other that it’s like I’m not even there!
I couldn’t be happier that I had the great honour of meeting these two, shooting their engagement, then 10 days later, shooting their wedding, which was absolutely beautiful, by the way! ( Should be on the blog within a couple weeks! ).
Thanks again Linnet & Jean-Philippe for including me in some of the most special moments of your lives!
