My last wedding of the year was Shelley and Gord’s big day in Fredericton, which was also my last day in Fredericton before I made the big move to Quebec.
I first met these two last fall, and we did our engagement shoot in February. Their love, their laughs, and their adorable sense of humour made that session one to remember, and it made me so excited for what was to come on their wedding day! When the day finally came, I can tell you I wasn’t dissapointed. These two know how to make each other love, smile, and they looked beautiful/handsome while doing it.
We had a calm, crisp, beautiful fall day. The girls got ready at Avalon, while the boys got ready at Shelley and Gord’s house. We had their first look at the walking bridge, and stayed in the area until we left for Geary. We did our bridal party photos in Geary, just a few minutes away from the church. After the intimate ceremony, we headed down to the water in Oromocto and took the family photos in front of the setting sun.
The reception dinner was a turkey supper, that couldn’t have been better, followed by carrot cake, lots of heartfelt speeches, and some groovy dance moves.
Shelley and Gord’s big day ran smoothly, was absolutely stunning, and incredibly elegant. I wish for all the best for these two lovebirds! Congrats Shelley and Gord!
